What to try
- Update Queue: approve a seafarer's own change request (maker-checker: the change you entered yourself has to be approved by somebody else).
- Hours of Rest: open Daffy Duckling, Employment, Hours of Rest — one day of cargo work breaks MLC 2006 Regulation 2.3, and the alert email is in the demo outbox.
- Certificates: the dashboard counts certificates expiring in the next 90 days; Bugsy Bilgewater's Basic Safety Training has already lapsed.
- Compliance: run the “Deck crew — STCW minimum” requirement set against a person's certificates and medical.
- Reports: crew readiness, certificate expiry and the hours-of-rest record for port State control, from the sample fleet.
- Roles: Settings, Team — build a custom role and set what it may see, field group by field group.
